Update and Extend License of MoTuM for ENI Muara Bakau B.V.
MuTeknologi Software is proud to announce that the MoTuM license has been extended for ENI Muara Bakau B.V. For every license extended, we provide training on MoTuM, which we provided on 23 August 2024. MoTuM is an oil spill model consisting of oil trajectory, oil thickness, probability of oily area in time or percentage, and fates (oil weathering) that is coupled with a 3-dimensional Hydrodynamic Model (MuHydro3D) and integrated into a Graphical Information System (GIS) in Windows System. MoTuM is suitable for oil spill mitigation, contingency plans, oil spill risk assessment, and backtracking oil sources.

On the training day, The participants tried to simulate the hydrodynamic and the oil spill dispersion in the Ketapang area. The participants also tried to present their simulation results (Probability of oily area in time or percentage, trajectory), and they pretended to present the simulation to the combating team or higher-up person since the purpose of the training was not only to be proficient using MoTuM but also to understand and explain the simulation results, which is our goal from this training.
